For information, intervention, or to request a speaker for your group, contact the Age Concern Manawatu Elder Abuse & Neglect Prevention Coordinator on 355 2832, or click on this link to email to elderabuse@ageconcern-manawatu.co.nz

Our EANP Coordinator is available to discuss problems, and to assist by working with older people who are experiencing abuse or neglect.

This service is free, and anyone can report a case of elder abuse or neglect.   Nothing is too small to be discussed, and your confidentiality is assured.

Where else can you go for help?

Talk it over with someone.  This could be a friend, a family member, your nurse or doctor, a spiritual advisor, or the Police.

Older people should not be abused or neglected.
